How to make Jasmine Rice in a rice cooker
Ingredients
2 cups Thai jasmine rice
2 cups water
Preparation
Step 1
In a fine colander rinse the rice in room temperature water using your hands to remove the excess starch. Repeat the process until the water runs clear. Set the rice aside for 10 minutes to drain off the excess water.
Step 2
Place the rice and water in the rice cooker. Close the lid and turn the rice cooker on. The rice cooker will switch to the warm setting when the rice is done cooking. Let the rice sit undisturbed for 10 minutes. Gently stir before serving.
